23.3.2.Set-denoting adjectives
quickinfo

This section discusses the set-denoting adjectives from a set-theoretic point of view. Section 23.3.2.1 begins with the set-theoretic distinction between the attributive and predicative use of the adjective, and will also briefly discuss the adverbial use of these adjectives. Although making further semantic distinctions does not lead to a further systematic subdivision of the set-denoting adjectives, some of these distinctions will be discussed in Section 23.3.2.2, as they are useful for describing the morphological and syntactic properties of the set-denoting adjectives. Section 23.3.2.3 concludes with a morphological classification of the set-denoting adjectives.
