This section deals with predicatively used adpositional phrases; cf. Section V2.2 for a more general discussion of the distribution of predicative clausal constituents. Section 35.2.1 begins with a discussion of complementive adpositional phrases, and 35.2.2 continues with supplementive adpositional phrases. Section 35.2.3 concludes with a brief discussion of absolute met-constructions.
