18.3.Bibliographical notes
quickinfo

The most comprehensive discussion of Dutch binominal constructions without preposition discussed in Section 18.1 can be found in Vos (1999). Other important studies of such binominal constructions can be found in Paardekooper (1952), Van der Lubbe (1978:134ff.), Putter (1976), Bennis (1978), Van Gestel (1986), Barbiers (1990), Van Riemsdijk (1998), Schermer-Vermeer (2008), Van de Velde (2009), and the references cited therein. For a discussion of similar constructions in other languages, see Löbel (1986/1989), Bhatt (1990), Delsing (1991), Alexiadou et al. (2007: Part III, §2), and Klockmann (2017:ch.6&7).

The discussion of the N-van-een-N construction in Section 18.2 is based mainly on Paardekooper (1956), Everaert (1992), a series of papers by Den Dikken (1995b/1998/2006 and more), and Bennis et al. (1998). The last two are also important sources for the discussion of the wat-voor construction in Section 18.2.2. Other studies of this construction include Bennis (1983/1995), Den Besten (1985), Corver (1990/1991), De Hoop & Kosmeijer (1991), Broekhuis (1992), De Hoop (1992), Aarts (1994), Beermann (1997), Honcoop (1998), and Alexiadou et al. (2007: Part III, §2).
